Intellectual Property & User Content Terms

These terms are subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable Australian law.

Averie intellectual property

Averie and its licensors retain ownership of the software, platform, designs, branding, templates, workflows, documentation, trade marks and other Averie intellectual property.

User content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant Averie a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, format, display and process that content as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, improve and support the service.

Marketing use

Subject to your applicable marketing-content preference, Averie may use eligible customer-created content for marketing, promotional materials, case studies and product demonstrations. Where identifiable personal information is involved, Averie will use an appropriate legal basis and required permission.

Third-party material

You must not upload material unless you have the necessary rights and permissions. Averie will not intentionally use third-party imagery in templates or designs without an appropriate licence, permission or other lawful basis.

Copyright complaints

Copyright complaints should be sent to hello@averie.com.au and should identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, the complainant's contact details and the basis of the complaint. Averie may restrict disputed content while investigating.

Repeat infringement

Averie may suspend or terminate accounts responsible for repeated or serious intellectual property infringement.
