Business & Marketplace Terms

These terms are subject to rights and protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable Australian law.

1. Business accounts

Vendor, Venue and Planner accounts may create profiles and participate in the Averie marketplace subject to these Terms.

2. Free listings

Vendor Free and Venue Free provide ongoing discoverability, profiles and direct enquiries. Free listings do not include all Pro opportunity and business-management features.

3. Supplier independence

Suppliers are independent businesses. Averie does not guarantee their quality, availability, qualifications, licences, insurance, prices or performance.

4. Bookings

Averie may provide tools for enquiries, requests, proposals and booking workflows. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the supplier and organiser are responsible for forming and performing their own agreement.

5. Supplier payments

Averie does not currently collect, hold or settle supplier marketplace payments. Organisers pay suppliers directly using arrangements agreed with the supplier.

6. Business content

Businesses may upload logos, photographs, descriptions, prices, packages and videos where they have the necessary rights. Businesses grant Averie a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, format and distribute such content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the Platform, subject to the marketing-content preference rules.

7. Prices

Published pricing must be accurate and not misleading. Material conditions such as deposits, minimum spends, fees, exclusions and taxes should be disclosed.

8. Reviews and ratings

Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experience. Users must not fabricate reviews, manipulate ratings, impersonate customers, offer undisclosed incentives for reviews or submit unlawful or abusive content. Averie may moderate or remove content that breaches these rules.

9. Verification

Averie may offer verification processes. A verified status will only mean what Averie's published verification process says it means and does not constitute a guarantee of supplier performance.

10. Compliance

Businesses are responsible for complying with laws applicable to their services, including consumer, advertising, licensing, tax, employment, privacy, safety and intellectual property requirements.
